I've been impressing myself with my increasing culinary skills -- under A's tutelage. Dishes I've prepared of late: Grilled Mozzarella Tomato Basil Paninis, Jambalaya with Andouille Sausage, Pesto Goat Cheese Pita Pizza, Prosciutto y Melon, Caprese Salad (fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes drizzled with balsamic and herb dressing), Rigatoni and Italian Sausage, White Cheddar and Dried Cranberry Garden Green Salad with a Light Balsamic Vinaigrette, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches ... and, of course, Banana Pancakes.He has definitely done an amazing job serving as my apprentice and substitute. I hope he realizes that now that I know his capabilities and once our baby girl arrives, he may just get assigned to dinner duty a little more regularly!

I was going to post something about Jonathan's shopping expeditions and the weird and random things I have sent him all over town for, but when I mentioned it to him, he said, "What's really impressive is the meals I have prepared for you!"
